blow_away
Mitch mentioned Hayley Bell being a veteran LDU'er, talking to her brother Fraser at P1, I found out that Hayley was appointed by the American Motorcycle Association for her work on the Women's World Motorcycle Relay, despite her not being American. The last person they appointed was Travis Pastrana. Hayley is a solid gold legend 😎

It was great to see the reprobates from the forum, and I've noticed that there is a pattern forming in that I keep ending up in carparks talking to strange leather clad men from the internet. TKDMitch
OK, let's get back up to speed. Ifor was first into Pitstop 4, ready to catch the ferry. At which point his bike died and refused to start. It's essentially hotwired anyway, so a bit of electrical surgery later and he was on his way, heading off for the final Pitstop.
TKDMitch
Dan Mills rolled into Pitstop 4 8 mins after Ifor left, with Glen Beechener, James Sarjeant, Martin Bland and Andy Cracket all following 4 minutes later. Gary, Matt, Ben, Phil and Paul all rolled in within the next 14 minutes. I bet the start off the ferry on the other side was interesting 8

TKDMitch
Sadly the Brackenburgman has died, leaving Luke to be collected by the van for the rest of the journey to JO'G. No pics but the engine wasn't sounding too good earlier in the day...

It sounded feckin' awful at P3, and I stated then that I would be absolutely amazed if it managed another 100 miles.
TKDMitch
Alex Harris, Paul fryer, Ian Richardson all went through Pitstop 4 around 8.15, closely followed by George Dennison, Andy Collins, Jim Lyndsay, Matt Holler and Callum. All caught the ferry and headed off without incident. Grant, Keith and Angus followed them in.

TKDMitch
Did I mention it was Grant's wedding anniversary, and his Mrs is waiting for him at Pitstop 5? 12
Supercoolnothing
Not long home from p4, it was an absolute blast. Time for a well deserved cuppa before heading off to bed. Hope everyone makes it up to p5 and then to John O'Groats safely. 4

TKDMitch
We've got another retirement, looks like Andy Crackett's bike won't be going any further. Waiting on further details to see what happened but seems like he's OK.
TKDMitch
7 riders are now through Pitstop 5 and on the final leg, Ifor is still leading the group by around 15 minutes with Derrik, Gary, Ben, Phil, Matt and Paul following on. Not that it's a race...

TKDMitch
And they're in! Ifor, Paul, Ben and Derrik have reached JO'G! Awesome effort guys, just superb As I type the total stands at £53,343, plus £9k gift aid. Fucking incredible. If you can afford it, chuck a few quid in the bucket eh? 22 hours of riding is quite something; heroes, the lot of them.

Ray Von
Great work guys n girls, tremendous event this year. Definitely considering another go when an appropriate machine makes itself known. Makes me feel warm just being a little part of it & just want to do something. I did 2014 after my dad was diagnosed in 2012, he passed away last year, just from fund raising and the subsequent research I sincerely believe that's why we got another 8 quality years with him. Thank you so much for everyone's efforts. Love to all. 13
