zx9ral
Just changed the front sprocket on my zx9r e1. The nut is like something ive never seen before. Its like a top hat, with the top cut off, & a thread down the inside. The actual nut would be the "Brim" of the hat. Prompting the question, Is there a special tool for this & where would i get one

monty_zac
What ever I tried it wouldn't come off on a TDM I had, scaffold pole the lot. Got a compressor on there with an air gun, brrrrup, straight off.
gurninman
When I did the C&S on my ZX9 I just sat on the bike, in gear, foot on back break and the sprocket nut undid nae probs. Not spontaneously, mind, I did have to use a 27mm socket with a gert fuckoff breaker bar.
