Is the spark plug getting wet with fuel? (Can you smell fuel out the exhaust when trying to start it) Is the spark strong enough? Is there decent compression? and is enough air getting in? (And how new is the fuel?) Have you tried some Easy Start? Edited February 6, 2023 by Alpinestarhero

Have you tried some Easy Start? Lynx Africa deodorant works as easy start. Proved many times for me, latest on Saturday when boy needed the two stroke generator that had been slumbering for about 10 years. Some fresh(ish) premix in tank, no sign at firing at first . Squirt of lynx into air intake, couple of coughs. Drain float bowl, flush through a bit of fuel , another squirt of Lynx, started.
