I think you may mean this Boris:

https://www.redlineoil.com/waterwetter

I was going to use it in my Car a while ago, but changed my mind in the end. We call it WetterWatter round my way.

Water wetter and waterless are two different things. Water wetter acts as a detergent to reduce the surface energy of the coolant and improve wetting of the cooling system surfaces, which can improve the heat transfer through the cooling system.

Waterless is a coolant substitute that promises reduced coolant temps and no boiling due to its high boiling point. What they don't mention is that the reduced coolant temps are due to shitty heat transfer, with associated increase in cylinder head temps...

I understand some of the higher performance coolants are flammable. Not an issue on it's own, theres plenty of potential fuel when you look. But few would immediately expect leaking coolant to be the source of a fire.

I feel like it's what everyone needs to know about that stuff!

The one upside is it apparently doesn't lead to corrosion of high mag castings, so might be the answer for things like NSR500 twins.

Boy, I wish I had that problem!

I wondered about it because the coolant is discoloured, a brown / rust and I thought if there wasnt any expansion i wouldnt need an expansion bottle
