GSXR 750 K6 gear change bush

Does anyone know if its possible to replace the bushing in the gear change lever? Its become very sloppy and looks like its a press fit brass bushing thats worn (bike has done nearly 40k miles

and used to be my daily commuter).

Googling seems to show a replacement part no  25600-01H01 which includes the lever for around £80, but wondered if there was another known (budget) option

Done exactly that on a k3, pressed the bush out and got a mate to knock one up at work, sure if you find someone with a lathe they will be able to knock something up for you

Cool, thanks. I'll give it a go, take some measurements and see if there's anything (like an Oilite bush) available in correct size
