Pinkbike1
In line with the new ruling for trackdays I've bought a brake lever protector, However upon trying to fit it I can't remove the insert inside the clip on. Any suggestions ? slide hammer and knock it out or just knock it further into the clip on? it's a standard clipon, bike is an '04 600RR. I have thought about asking a responsible adult but ............

Mark/Foggy
The correct answer though, sadly..is that Bars are actually crash protectors, so need after market and some spare tubes.

Out of interest though can you not just put the bolt from your protector through into the existing insert? Its what I've done on my R1, assisted by some washers to clear the grip. I did think about doing that but for some reason my addled brain rejected it 🤷♂️
lesviffer 750
Better still, junk them heavy old bars and fit some nice ally clip-ons.
pirks
I know it's not a 600rr but Honda use the same retaining clips for many bikes
