Adarmo
I'm playing with bikes more and more, mostly small jobs / cleaning and multiple bikes so am looking to buy a table type lift My thinking being that they will take all types of bikes quickly and easily rather than the lifts that connect to the bike There's 20% off a few sellers on ebay so I'm thinking of this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-MC365-Hydraulic-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Bike-Lift-Ramp-Bench-365Kg-Capacity/352209402822 Sealey MC365 £375 (after discount) This one seems almost identical and is only £275 collected but mentions that the ramp shouldn't bear weight - which looking at the pic is ridiculous - which makes me wonder about the Sealey https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Hydraulic-Bike-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Service-Shop-Lift-Ramp-Table-Bench/191920885348 The 350kg weight is high enough but is there anything else to consider before I buy ? Thanks Edited November 18, 2020 by Adarmo Added another lift

Thanks That last one is a recipe for disaster. Do a search on here (as crap as the search feature is, best of luck), the same question was asked about 6-8 months ago, there was lots of suggestions including people who'd used the last one on your link and had trouble. Basically that last one's a scooter lift.

Basically that last one's a scooter lift. Having read up a bit more it seems both of them as designed for bikes with centre stands Thanks - found it. a link in there suggested the best VFM was my third choice on ebay - sods law it's not in the 20% promotion https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Switzer-Hydraulic-Motorbike-Bike-Lift-800lb-Motorcycle-Service-Shop-Ramp-Table/111626059605 Edited November 18, 2020 by Adarmo
426hemi
I had a lift nearly identical to that and found they wobbled around a bit as the base isn’t very wide, they pivot back as you lift them as well so you do need some extra room in front of them, I bolted the one I had to the floor as it tended to push forward when loading a bike on it but the floor was smooth and painted. Adarmo
To update this I stumbled across a hydraulic medical bed on ebay for £100 It works a treat, minimum height is 18" but that's similar to loading a van and it pumps up to 3'
