Adarmo
My rectifier / regulator has gone and taken my battery with it - after a 5hr wait / recovery home I'd rather upgrade to a decent mosfet to avoid it happening again Googling suggests any shindengen FH model will do the job They seem to all be 5 pin but arranged in one or two plugs and with a variety of numbers - does anyone know if they have different ratings ? IE is a FH012DA worse spec than an FH022BA etc
kja.busa
This is the one I use..... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-SHINDENGEN-FH020AA-REGULATOR-W-CONNECTORS-REPLACES-FH012AA/380705241034?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&redirect=mobile I've fitted a few of these to my own bike and a one to a mates, it's an easy conversion, this kit has all the relevant connectors and instructions.
srad34
I have fitted R1 rectifiers to Hondas and ducati before, really cheap upgrade that does the job. There are wiring guides on many bike brand pages as you won't need to use all of the pins on the yam rectifier 👍
Adarmo
Thanks bit late for me, I figured it out after blowing the first one up ! Total cost £60 for both so not a terrible result
