Thundercat Front End - How long?

Thunderbolt

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how tall a Thundercat front end is?

One has come up at reasonable monies and I want to know how long the forks are.

I am hoping for 90cm from the axle centre to the top of the yoke.

I have not got any numbers any more, but from the applications that I've seen them in, not a lot will be longer. Same basic fork went into early Gen Triumphs but was single disc in that application. For things like classic endurance in trick frames, they are a little too long.

I'm pretty sure they're the same length as TRX forks and 870mm rings a bell.

I have been told figures between 795mm and 870mm.

Tried messaging the seller again, but he doesn’t seem to understand and keeps saying 41mm

From the TRX forum-

"just measured the old 96 ones and I get 797 mm from top of stanchion to centre of axle, free length not compressed."

Thundercat forks are pretty much a straight swap (wheel spacers notwithstanding) :)
