Was it not a case of he wanted folk to believe he had done it in the Ferrari, but the Merc was a better camera platform? So he filmed from the Mercedes and them did the run in his Ferrari for the audio? Possibly an apocryphal tale. Regardless, its a great wee clip. Timeless.
