svingel
Uhm, yeah well, in this godless endeavour of indecisive divisive rim-surfing, I present you a test of performance airfilters: https://issuu.com/sprintfilter/docs/air-filter-element-flow-analysis_wa_b9b4f7976f1b38 I really ought to get a life, but it's just too much effort. So fuck it. And me 1
Damnthistinleg
Very similar results to what David Vizard found nearly 40 years ago, with the difference being that he also tested for filtration and the K&N was leagues ahead of anything else in both effective filtration and flow. Even after a long desert race, the K&N was still doing its job and flowing almost as well as it did when new. He also did dyno runs before and after races when using a filter and running without. Despite there being negligible difference in flow and power before the race, the choice of filter (or none at all) was responsible for a huge power difference at the end of the race - to the tune of something like 30% reduction! I've only ever bought K&N air filters since.
