trackdaybob
My mate has a 99 CBR600fx and he's fitted a new Hagon rear shock and the front forks have been reconditioned. They've been fitted to the bike and now we're looking to set up the sag tomorrow morning. Any ideas on what the sag should be for front and rear. He weighs around 70kg with his kit on. We're just looking for a basic road set up to start with. Any help appreciated ta.
kawafookin636
Hi Bob. For Static sag on a road bike you're looking for 30 - 40mm front, 15 - 25mm rear. For Rider sag you're looking for 35 - 50mm front, 30 - 45mm rear. If you need any more info feel free to PM me
trackdaybob
Cheers for that. We got it done this morning and now he's away out on it to see how it feels.

trackdaybob
Yep he's a happy chappy. He's been out and did a good few miles yesterday and today (in the pissing rain too) and he's sure it feels better. It's just down to getting a decent dry day now to fine tune it a bit. Thanks for your help.
