Annaz
Bike runs great with no exhaust. Bike runs ok with exhaust but has a splutter at 8K. Remove the baffle and it run great but is a little loud. So the question is would I stand a chance of getting on track with no baffle. I am sort of hoping I can coz I hate all that carb re-jetting mallarky.
David W
Which track, and is it a 'noisy day' or not? Some are more uptight about it than others. If it's a 105db day you'll be fine I'd imagine. If it's a quiet day you'll probably struggle. I'm surprised it makes such a big difference to the bike running though. Most engines will tolerate the baffle fitted without much of a problem. Annaz
Baffle-less Akra slip-on with not much internal packing passed at Oulton, so you should be OK (105Db limit). Tell 'em it's a 1000cc...they test them at lower revs than a screaming 600 Which track yousay Krop; Anglesea on 8th May
