syler Posted April 1, 2009 Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 ok need a bit of help here ...ride an 07 r6, was out riding this evening,& throttle was a little unresponsive n snatchy, then get the error light come on!! with the code 15 upon the dash have had a looked it up..... n errors page comesup eith the following - 15... Item... throttle positioning sensor symptom... tps, open or short circuit detected fail safe action.....fixes the tps fully open well personally I ain't gotta clue... hence why i'm typing this...........so are thesething easy to fix alone or is it a garage job?? Sounds like it might be simple... Either a dodgy TPS connection or you need a new one.... Unplug it and check if the resistance changes properly when you twist the throttle.
