What to spend it on

Two options at the moment for the TRX

1/ Buy a brand spanking new set of Keihin FCR41 mm carbs with airbox adaptors and cables.

or

2/ Buy a new set of front discs, pazzo/crg/titax levers and a set of new alloy cans. And get my CV carbs refurbished. Will save up for FCRs and at least have a better platform for the Keihins to work with.

Option 1 is very tempting but in the end all I have is a set of carbs. I know what they're like as I had a set of FCRs on my old Mk4 Guzzi LeMans.

Option 2 gives me more but still leaves me with those POS Mikunis.

My mechanic said that Keihins on the TRX would be a slight case of overkill. Everything std on bike except HEL front lines, Factory Pro emulsion tube kit, R6 BlueSpots and a Braking wavy rear disc.

Opinion would be greatly appreciated.Ta

Front fork brace new springs/valves (front) and new discs for the front. The TRX front-end is fucking shit standard. It whips like a bitch and the damping is rubbish.

Bike also has Ohlins front springs (forgot to menton that)

Rear shock is something I hadn't given much thought to.

Only one I could really afford brand new would be a Hagon ($699 over here - no reservoir)

OR

get an old TRX one from the wreckers and get it revalved and respringed.
