Jamie
Hello People, Just a quicky, fitting a slipper clutch in my R6 soon so i figure i need some new friction plates too. Has anyone had any experience with the V and H plates in a race bike? How do they compare to EBC heavy duty? Thanks in advance for your help, Jamie
Andy J
All i ever seem to read on many different forums (fori?) is that no clutch plates are as good as OE. They may cost more but they last. You pays your money, you takes your choice.
thundercat rider
My clutch is worn out too. I looked up the price for some OEM plates: very expensive. My shop suggested Lucas clutch plates (german company). He told me he never had any problems with them.
Jamie
I've always had good results using the EBC heavy duty jobbies but had no experience with the vance and hines stuff. I agree the OE are usually pretty good but like i say i've had no complaints about the EBC. Anyone else got any input on the Vand H? jamie
