Mr.Pigdog Posted February 1, 2009 Report Share Posted February 1, 2009 Ello mate,first you need to establish if its the cable or at the grip end or carb end.Usual faults are---1.dirt or old gunk in the throttle tube(the bit the grip sits on)cleanup with brake cleaner/degreaser and give it a light oiling.2.cable hasn't got a nice freerun-i.e. its kinked-had it apart?3.cable needs oiling?4.cable slack misadjusted--back it right off and start again.try pulling the cable by hand with it disconnected-see if it returns good then. good luck!
