I’m a bit crap at tech stuff.

I use

https://imgbb.com

I cut-n-paste the “BBcode fully linked” but remove bits in the brackets at the ends.

You want to use the direct link option on imugr, so you lose those img tags! Et Viola! HTH

Unless it's a GIF in which case use the one marked original gif file.

Cheers @Basil!! 👌

@firebeast you're looking to share links that have .jpeg or .jpg at the end. Click on the image, and it'll zoom in, then do a right click (or Control click on mac) and click the link from the dropdown menu that reads 'Copy Image Address', and then paste that link onto the forum

Haven't replaced my dead Huawei tablet, which I had worked it out on, but this is easier anyway now I have finally worked it out 👍

1000kb limit on posts?

Im sure the pics I posted were over that before, anyone help?

Either link from a photo hosting site (Flickr seems best) or you should be able to reduce the size of the image when you upload directly.

Morning could someone explain in fairly easy terms how to post pictures.

After 15 years it's about time I learnt!

Samsung S20 if that makes any difference.

Figured it out!

Click on ‘reply’

Click on ‘add files’

Click on ‘photo library’

Choose photo.

Click options and ‘large’ which should reduce the photo size to less than 1MB.

Click on ‘insert’

Post reply.

I seem to be having trouble posting pictures of any size.  I have always used flikr and it has allowed me to use medium sized pictures of under 1mb but now shows my limit as 7.53kb.  Is there a new limit on size or am I doing something wrong?
