speedy sie Posted May 27, 2012 Report Share Posted May 27, 2012 had this problem and it was the fuel pump hose from the pump to the filler inside the tank , crappy hose spring clips that hold it on,pipe had come off and bike was stating for .5 second then dies. now fitted stainless dubalie clips... and problem solved,and the fuel filter was not blocked ,so must have been the pressure that was popping it off. hope this helps,if your bike has this problem then it has missed the recall to rectify this problem.
