Both my racebikes have them fitted and they've done the job on more than one occasion. My road R1 has them but thankfully I've not tested them there. Never quite got to test them out, I bought them after a left hand side spill resulted in a scuffed OE generator cover, despite some of R&G's finest bungs doing their best. Luckily the cover wasn't holed so I was able to ride home. I bought a set of used but as new NRC's off ebay for about £50. never managed to test them out but I can say they were a perfect fit. was going to get some for the k6 but went for some GB racing covers instead.
