Jenny Pryde
I have an alloy swingarm from the import TDR model to replace the steel model on my own bike. Is it worth having additional bracing welded on? Will this increase rigidity and improve handling? Or will it increase weight and cost me mucho money for little advantage? Bungle
It made a big difference to my RG500 putting a braced standard arm on it. Now it flexes at the swingarm pivot & not at the back! It gives the lads riding behind me some fun watching the back end moving out of line & playing catch up with the front.
Jenny Pryde
Maybe you need some bracing on the frame? I used to quite enjoy the way my RG5 flexed. It felt strangely predictable. Like a slightly dotty yet friendly, aged relative.
