kaighn80
yes you can cock it up, there is a how to on painting with rattle cans, ive done the rear lights on my escort a long time ago, took me a couple of attempts as the paint is really pissy, you need to keep it warm too so might be an inside job, get a big box and cut one side out to make a mini painting booth, clean the bejesus out of them and apply in very thin coats putting loads of thin coats rather than one or two big coats, till you get them the colour/shade you want then leave them for ages, dont even look at them or they will still run! did i mention that the paint is really pissy? check to see how long you need to leave them between coats then add about 10 mins. banoffee
as an alternative if your bike has the clear indicator lenses with orange bulbs you can get 'chrome' bulbs which hide the orange completely. worth a look if you wanted an alternative..
