Guzzirider
I'm looking to get a set of quality twin shocks for my Guzzi cafe racer, maybe a set of Ohlins, Wilbers or similar. Looking to get them tailor built to suit both the bike (which is a one off) and myself, with adjustable ride height. Can anyone recommend a suspension specialist in the North who could help me? I am already aware of Maxton (they rebuilt my forks) but just wondered what the other options are. Thanks in anticipation Guy
millerich
How far north is north? John Gaskell at Revs racing in Halesowen is the UK importer for Wilbers. He'll have heaps of useful advice I'm sure.

alexp5
IIRC... Nitron have started doing shocks for twin shock set-up/classic bikes. Or was it Hyperpro... IIRC2... you can specify the spring to be powdercoated black instead of garish purple or turquoise. I haven't helped much have I.
dodgy_tom
Nitron in Witney do custom builds, and their Japanese arm have been making twin shocks for ages. You can get the shock spring coated in Black if you don't want Turquoise. I like the turquoise though, so my Ten has it.

lorenzo
+1 for reactive. As helpful as Maxton and as cheap as anybody out there that's not a cowboy. Really good guy to deal with, I'll be speaking to him again, I'm sure.
blow_away
How about Bitubo? Bill Waddington showed me some a while back, and the quality looked A1, right up there with Ohlins http://www.whitecrossmotorcycles.co.uk/roa...roducts/xxf.htm Morepower sells them as well http://www.p3unlimited.com/suspension_rearshocks.html
millerich
September's Motorcycle Sport and Leisure magazine has a test of a Honda CBX race bike with Wilbers twin shocks. Might be worth a read just to see if the look is right for what you're after.
