Teflon coated wheels?

ages ago in the MCN (hiiss!) the was a brief article about a firm that paints wheels with teflon coated goodness. i've searched but not come up with the goods so does anyone have any contact details? cheerdy, j

Not sure about wheels, but I had my TR1 engine ceramic coated externally, I think it was Camcoat who did it. Maybe worth a ring?

nicely. thanks for that -i'm biting bullet and taking the 996 off the road for winter -it despreately needs some tlc inside and out and the wheels are a bit knacked due to my clunky tyre changing!

How did the casings last? Worth doing?

i remember reading about someone teflon coating his engine in BIKE years ago..

Damned interesting idea... I'm sure I've spoken to someone who used a Teflon coating (PTFE) kit at some point. I remember being told it was quite straightforward too.

If it lasts then then it'd be awesome for winter bikes!

My R1 wheels have a teflon type coating. VERY durable but look constantly grubby!

I'm going to get them blasted and painted in Graphite grey over the winter.

Recommended if using for track/race bike and frequent tyre changes.....
