Edlawson
Hi I've got a gsxr 1000. It's got a power commander with a personal engine map. If i change the air filter for a piper cross, or something similar, will it affect the PC set up? And, what sort of power gain can i expect if any? Cheers. Edlawson
The PC was set with the OE filter. I'm no mechanic but i thought it might change things but wsn't sure if i was just being a stupid. On a similar thought line, bear with me, when crescent set the PC up the bike had about 800 miles on it. Now its got 3800ish on it. Will it need a re-map now the engine has loosened up ? If it does, i'll change the filter then and get it right ??? Thanks.
Evilchicken0
Sounds like a plan You might get a bit more niose from the filter but your unlikely feel anything on the road. If, however your looking to change the headers for a later model's like in the PB articles then doing it all before another remap would make more of your money. I though Fuel Injection could "adjust itself" a little using the lambada sensor in the exhaust ????
