wazrs257
Is it just me, or does anyone else think this is beautiful! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
AntLockyer
I did at first glance, then I went off it a bit. Looks so fragile doesn't it?
spacemonkey
Yeah, and you can pick it up with one hand! 50cc racebikes were extremely interesting, shame the class disappeared!

wazrs257
Imagine what would be being raced now, if the ACU hadn't banned multi-cylinder 50's (& 125's)! I have a recording of the 1962 ultra-lightweight I.O.M TT (with commentry by Murray Walker!) and they sound brilliant. They were doing 70+mph laps even back then and 100+mph top speed. The Kriedler had a 12 speed gearbox!

I'd love a good nose around in one of those multi-cylinder engines though!
krazyk
I had an Itom 50 once but sold it on it was fine but i am over 6 ft. As far as I can remember the Van Veen Kreidler was running flat sliders wich had three positions, start , change and max. I remember an MCN report of it doing 120 at Spa, mid 70s I think
Jazzbasser
Cool piece of kit. Bit on the pricey side though!
