stubbsy
Hey all, Got to the stage on my Gilera Nordwest project where I want to improve the look of the engine a bit. It should have a nice silver finish, but this is all flaking/corroded. I've got the motor all stripped down at the moment, so what is the best way to go to get the corrosion/flaky paint removed. (best left to a professional or possible at home?) Then planning to paint the engine black, what prepping/priming etc should be done first? Are the over the counter engine paints any good/ what do you recommend? Questions, questions!!!! ........ cheers in advance for the help
