speedy sie Posted May 22, 2010 Report Share Posted May 22, 2010 due to the fact iv seen three electrical problems on the forum aver the winter/spring period ill write a check list for the beloved srad,this will be an ongoing list as i can be botherd to update the problems. im no going to state the bloody oviouse electrical prolblems only the ones for the srad.if you get a check falut on the clocks then go to the rear lift the main seat and find the small white plug with the rubber cover,jump the two (this plug has only two)conection over with a small peice of wire and a fault code will come up on the dash unit,here is the list and will help find the problem. C14never had a problem with the throttle posiosion swich,only ever seen one come lose,but have seen them played with. C15. water tem unit,ither has a fault with the tep unit(iv never had this happen),or the loom to the clocks or the clocks. the most likley cause is the green block under the left ram tube is corodded,come undone,damaged.this plus also does the rev counter,so problems there could also be this plug.
