Just wondering as I was mildly distracted by how long they were going down the straight before braking - even if they only hit about 120mph that'd be 1/2 a mile, and I bet they go way faster than that.... And it would appear that the straight would be longer, more like the Mulsanne straight, if it didn't have that chicane where the flying car crash happened. Remember they both came from racing like that. But F1 cars are designed to (1) cut through the air to gain you any advantage possible whilst (2) fucking up the airflow for people behind so they can't get past...
