Is there any way you can damage anything by using full synthetic or is cost the reason people use semi? is there any basic rules for using one or the other?

Thanks.

Suzuki themselves reccomend that you don't put fully synth into any of their bikes due to potential clutch slip issues. I'm not saying that using fully synth will cause the clutch to slip just that suzuki will tell you it's your fault if you try and take it back as a warranty issue and tell you to clean the clutch out and re-fill it with semi. Shell VSX is the one used in the dealership I used to work in anyways.
