What do people recommend for the oil change, full or semi synthetic? The bikes a K9 gsxr 1000 and i use it for fast road riding and track days. Thanks for any help.

Thanks. Personally i wouldn't put fully in it till its done a few thousand miles and fully run in

cagimaha Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 Suzuki themselves reccomend that you don't put fully synth into any of their bikes due to potential clutch slip issues. I'm not saying that using fully synth will cause the clutch to slip just that suzuki will tell you it's your fault if you try and take it back as a warranty issue and tell you to clean the clutch out and re-fill it with semi. Shell VSX is the one used in the dealership I used to work in anyways.
