monty_zac
The chain adjusters on my CBR600FY are seized in proper, I have stripped everything away so I am now left with just the stud sticking from the swingarm, the flats on the nut part seem long gone so I cut a slot in it and tried a flat blade bit in a socket, but its not going anywhere? Seems really odd that this should happen, never had it happen before and the bike isn't that high mileage, anyone got any ideas or had this happen before to them? They seem to have become one with the swingarm. If I heat it, I presume I heat the swingarm alloy and not the stud?
kwakbiker
Take it youve tried wd etc, maybe some plusgas or build a mold out of blue tac(or plasticine) and use it as a pool to hold the wd round it for a day or so, this works well on seized up suspension damping screws
