Starter Solenoids

I think the starter solenoids gone on the ZXR, Thumb the starter and it'll click, but if i give it a few tries theres a random chance the starter will start working. Batterys fine

Whats the differences between em? are they pretty much plug and play? i.e. will my spare nc30 solenoid work on a zxr750?

Check the amperage, if you can.

This is nothing but guess work, but I'd say that the biggest problem is what current it's rated to, or as DT puts it in his "I'm not properly educated in electrickery" way, the amperage. Heathen.

I'd bet the zxr takes a fuck off big current to start it, and the nc only a medium sized one. The sort of thing you might electrocute elephants with or something, you know. Anyway, put the NC one on there and it might work, but I bet you it won't after about 20 goes, and it'll leave you stranded on that iffy estate at about 11pm or something.

Shouldn't get stranded on that iffy estate because i wasn't thinking about heading anywhere near your place anytime soon

H'mm, I'll have to keep digging, or just find a replacement zxr one
