Tim Radley Posted April 20, 2010 Report Share Posted April 20, 2010 You can use an aluminium oxide flexhone, say 320 grit to clean up the bore and make it good for fresh rings. But the bore will need checking carefully after you have removed the aluminium to make sure there is no damage to the plating. If possible check it also with a bore mic.
