Devon Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 i have a race fairing that needs to be drilled so that i can fit a screen but is there an easy method of making sure i drill the holes in the correct places and ensure there are no gaps in the screen
rndnick Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Do you have the screen already? If so just fit up, hold in place with some tape or a helper and mark and drill carefully?
si.likes.guiness Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 whenever i have done it i get a mate to hold the screen in place, then line it up and get drilling.making sure yo measure the holes each side though.some fairing ive had have come with a hole indent at the front ,so you get a starting point.if its like that, drill the hole in the indent and put a screw through.then drill the holes at the top of the screen, then work towards the first hole at the front
