bezzer Posted March 20, 2010 Report Share Posted March 20, 2010 I've used the Bernzomatic alloy soldering rods (from B&Q) and it worked fine on casings, also used it to "weld" pieces together again with no problem. It's only £5 ish for two rods, cheaper and easier to used than Lumiweld, doesn't need "activating" with stainless steel like Lumiweld either.
