I've got a few short oil filters for my Mille left hanging about, and having bought the long filter conversion cap when my dealer told me about the mod, have used the long filters ever since. Just wondering if there is any reason why I shouldn't use the old short filters up this year. What was the "science" behind the long filter mod? Does it increase the oil flow and give the pump an easier time, or is it just for extended oil change intervals? So what do ya reckon? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
