Right, the project so far.... (sorry picture junkies - no piccies ATM :beerchug: )

Triumph Daytona frame....check

Triumph Daytona engine....check

New shape RSV swingarm...check - 2006 model

Fit them all together....check

The problem I've got is the swingarm is narrower than the frame. What I want to know from you new shape RSV owners is how the swingarm sits in your frame.

There is Aprilia cast into the top of the swingarm, does the centre of this writing line up with the centre line of the bike?

That way I can decide if I need to space out (or in) the gearbox sprocket.

Cheers RSV dudes

i've got a 2000 model so can't check, but for an easy life i'd use the Aprilia wheel and spacers and fit the swingarm so that the rear wheel lines up with the front one.

As standard the swinging arm bush (no 18 in the diagram) butts up to the nearside of the RSV chassis and there is a threaded bush in the offside chassis rail.

parts 19 and 20 are the spindle nut and washer.

You know the RSV rear brake is pants don't you? :eusa_whistle:
