Fino Posted November 25, 2009 Report Posted November 25, 2009 Does anyone know if there are differences between Power Commanders bought in the USA to those in the UK mainly in relation to the different USA and UK spec bikes? From what I've noticed there seems to be a big price difference and wondered if it was worth getting one from the states.

fran9r Posted November 25, 2009 Report Posted November 25, 2009 I know a mate who bought a CBR 6 RR in 2005 from Honda, which then turned out not to be UK spec because the UK spec PCIII had to have a different loom. Surely if you use a UK sourced map (for the fuel grade) and load it onto a US PCIII, it'll do the same job? I presume the difference is the cut of the importer...
