lorenzo Posted November 10, 2009 Report Share Posted November 10, 2009 I bought some disc a short while back from some shady demi-french feller for my zx7r, and clearly he's trying to kill me. It turns out that a few of the spring washers on the bobbins have got cracks in them, and ones more or less fallen off completely. I've searched the ebc website, but firstly I suspect that it's a US site, and secondly, I can't see any mention of the spring washers anywhere on there. Anybody point me in the right direction? I'm not major bothered, i bet they're not expensive, and it's something for me to do over the winter. It is a good job you mentioned to have a look over them, I'd have probably just stuck them on once I'd gone over them with a bit of wire wool. Also, i've just called ebc (don't know why I couldn't find that site?) they'll look into it and call me back tomorrow. All in all 7 are cracked and one has come apart completely, which means almost half of the bobbins are defective in some way! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
