SamB
Hi, I've just bought a second hand bike. Weirdly the only scruffy bit is the frame - the standard finish is a bit soft and marks easily. There are a lot of scratches - some almost gouges. I guess powdercoating is one option to get it looking nice again but I'm not sure I can face a total stripdown. Polishing is another idea but not my taste. Is there a third option? Ta! spacemonkey
+ + HTH You can probably have something close to the original finish restored if you talk to the right metal finishing company. It would involve stripping the bike though!
SamB
Hmmm - its probably too nice for a rattle can job - I'll probably strip it down and get a proper job done.
