GSXR814 Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 Anybody know of a fool proof way to do this? The one on my szr has a weep near the rear mount. If there isn't a reliable and relatively cheap way of doing it I'll source another tank. Quote
426hemi Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 Maybe getting it plastic welded, problem with any liner is the plastic tank expands and the liner peels off inside. 1 Quote
GSXR814 Posted November 17 Author Report Posted November 17 Yeah I wondered about the expansion thing. My mate recommended an aerospace spec sealer.... But it is almost as much as a used tank🤔 Previous owner looks like they have had a crack at repairing it with resin of some sort but the fuel has got between the tank and the repair Quote
