Bickers
Whilst stripping down some fork legs it came to me in a vision... They'd look wicked in black (as everything does). I've tried painting fork legs before (with rattle cans and ALOT of laquer) and stone chips got the better of them. Have I got any other options? Powder coating? Old skool stove enameling? Advice welcomed!
addiction269
from the bits ive had done on my forks it hasnt held up well, but that was powder coated gold im not sure if you'll ever beat the stone chips but find a colour that hides them well. alexp5
You could polish them, but this would mean never getting them wet again, unless you buy shares in Autosol. Powder coating is the way to go, although I've had some success in the past with using etch primer (onto bare ally, you should use this anyway) followed by regular primer, followed by gloss black Smoothrite.
