Crm250 mk.2- what to look out for when buying?

As title suggests, what's important to look out for? I'm potentially buying one that looks in very good/clean condition, with 20k miles on the clocks. I've read about the swingarm bolt seizing up so will check that. Have also read that the general consensus is these seem to be the most 'reliable' of that era and not too highly strung. Would be my first time owning a 2 stroke but it's an itch that needs scratching.

20M on the clocks. ?

If its been used regularly off road then everything can be worn out very quickly.

EVERYTHING seizes up very quickly on an off road bike without regular greasing !

You need to pay as much attention to the owner to gauge how its been treated as you do to the bike .

A couple on here have experience of these bikes, I`m sure they will be along soon to give specific advice.

Mk2 and 2,2 had poor fork outer material. check for corrosion often causes by knocks or poor cleaning. 
Swingarm pivots will be seized - they always are and need the bolt cutting off usually taking the swingarm with it. 
Kill switch, side stand switch cause issues, looms rot under the tank on well used and off roaded bikes. water collects and eats the loom from the inside out. 
Motors on the 2 and 3 are pretty good and simply. genuine parts each time and use good oil. 
balance shaft bearings rumble on bikes abused and neglected. the shaft i seem to recall is now NLA.
PGM's can burn out resulting in a none functioning powervalve. often caused by seized / neglected powervalve cables burning out the solenoids in the PGM

Get a cheap snotter thats been well used and abused - expect to pay through the nose. 
Buy a nice well maintained and cared for example for a grand more - and enjoy one of the best road / trail bikes money can buy.
