Devon
There are spots of rust on my car that i Want to get rid of before they get worse but obviously I don't want to have to respray my whole car only portions. What can I use to rub it down? I've read that I can get a certain disc to go on an angle grinder that will do the job I think it's called as flap wheel? I will post a photo of the kind of rust I'm talking about so you see what I mean but I guess I'd put a primer down and then rub that down a bit? Before applying the final coas of paint correct me if I'm wrong
Alex_H
If you just rub it down, it'll come back sooner or later, I don't know the exact process but you'll need to use a rust killer product to do it properly.

Guest
So I can't rub it down till its all gone? It's probably working its way to the middle of the metal from both sides, it's almost certain that when you start poking around only about 20% of the rust will be visible. Jenny Pryde
If it is on an easily removable panel, like a wing or door, finding a replacement panel in the correct colour code from ebay or an owners web site is the sensible way to go.
