What stuff do you have to do first to get qualified to jump solo?

....Not too low obviously

not sure were you are but i jumped from langar airfield nottingham

so if you search that there website will tell you everything you need to no

Good stuff. The ride up to altitude and then when the door is opened for the first time is absolutely terrifying isn't it!

You need to work on your freefall position though!

Well done for going through with it, when are you going up again?

You have to do an AFF course mate. That's "Advanced Freefall."

There are 9 stages to the course which include 8 x 12000ft jumps and 1 x 3500ft jump. Once you have completed an AFF course, at least in Australia, you have to undertake around ten of what they call "solo accuracy" jumps in order to be granted your "A" license from the governing body of skydiving. These jumps are basically just to watch that you are stable in your fall and can land accurately.

You can generally knock the course out in around 10 days but you can also spread the stages of the AFF out across several months so that it doesn't hit you in the wallet quite so hard.

i was ok until the first guy jumped then i thought oh shit...!

gimme chance ifor ! body position was the last thing on my mind ! and soon i cant wait to do it again !
