Old Pre-Mix

I have a few gallons of pre-mix left over from my last track day (Motul 800/Super unleaded), and was wondering if it will 'keep', or does the oil break down over time? I won't be using my bike untill next year now as the winter rebuild is already underway, so not sure what to do with it. If it's a bit dodgy using it after that amount of time, I'll just bung a gallon per fullish tank in the car, but it seems a shame to waste it like that! :iconthumbsdownkq8:

Don't think it'll keep that long! My mate was in the situation with his leaded race fuel with 25:1 Motul kart oil. So being the generous fellow I am, I went with jerry can and assisted with his dilema! I added some regular fuel so it's now at 40:1 which is perfect for the hedge trimmer!! :biggrinvk4:

My track bike is the only two stroke engine I use now, so looks like its gonna end up in the car! Serves me right for mixing it all in one go I suppose!

curve ball number 237564. if its a sealed container( no vent) & if your that tight ......yes it will be ok (if your that tight you proberly keep old plugs) planes over here run fine on fuel that has been stored in sealed containers for over a year. but on a bad day & you havent ridden for a few months put a CD of 1965 or 67 in the cd player fill car up with premix & smile all the way to work........dont forget to 'blip on the down shift'
