fran9r
OK so I have tried to make corroded ally engines look passable before. With varying results -some bits looking like they are semi-polished. So whats the best way? Or it is it best to ignore it, until such time as I'm ready to take the engine out and paint it? 2Smoke
Vapour blasting. But without the engine stripped, it's about as much use as waving a wand at it sorry. Maybe some coarse wire wool?

Called and placed an order at about 1.30 on Monday, and the stuff arrived at work today. Keen to try it, I put some on an area of the frame that I'd used some silver polish on, which removed all but a bit of staining. This stuff brought it all off, bar a couple of stubborn bits. I spent some time on those bits and they will lift with some effort. Properly impressed at the company and the product. Top reccomendations people.
