V6Jon
Evening all, managed to get out and start sorting the shithole that is my garage out so I can start the winters fettling and improvements, and that included hunting out all the bits I have hidden from the wife One of the jobs is to rebuild the rear master cylinder and fit a Tygon reservoir and a banjo bolt with built in brake switch, but need to know what the correct size is. When I rebuilt the bike I got sent a banjo switch with the rearsets, but it was the wrong thread pitch for the back (but would have fitted the front), and now I can't find the bloody thing to measure it, and obviously the bolts are in the master cylinder ! So can anyone tell me what the correct thread pitch is for a 1996 750 ? Ta muchly Jon
scooby601
Pro Bolt say M10 x1.00, but they also say that for the front, as well as M10 x 1.25 too. Clear as mud!!
V6Jon
I have seen something that says around this period Suzuki wnt from 1.0 to 1.25 and for a while bikes used a mixture which explains the confusion, but doesn't help much I am just trying to get all the parts on the bench before I start, but can always measure what I have when it all comes apart.
