big nick
Does anybody forsee any problems with fitting an exhaust can from a GASR1000 k5 to my k2 now that the k2 has the header from a k5 on it? Obvuiosly the can will have to be secured with an exhaust strap. I just do not like the 4 bolt design on the k1-k4 and the fact it sits quite low, i like an upswept type. big nick
Cool, well just ordered an MTC GP style can as they are cheap at the moment and light. You can get the k5 headers off the bay for less than £100. Great value really for titanium. Not really had chance to ride it yet but it pulls like a train compared to my old 99 R1
markw
Also drop 2 teeth on the front sprockett and hold on, if you get over 10,000 rpm on the road prepare for jail...!!!! what i love about mine is it cost me £3k 3 years ago, still get something near now and its comfortable, fast , handles well. A back tyre a year , £250 insurance and off i go....cheap ..very fast Mark
