Jenny Pryde Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 Look at the welding on that! What is the reason for the 'U' bend between the down-pipes and the expansion chambers?
Chrisball Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 Look at the welding on that! What is the reason for the 'U' bend between the down-pipes and the expansion chambers? Probably to get rid of some length. Nice set of pipes Mark, are they stainless??

rg_gammaman Posted November 7, 2011 Author Report Posted November 7, 2011 Look at the welding on that! What is the reason for the 'U' bend between the down-pipes and the expansion chambers? I designed the pipe like that as i had to lose some length as otherwise the belly section of the Right hand pipe came back too far. Yes Chris these are Stainless. Thanks for the comments
